Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives

We stayed at Cinnamon Resort for one week and had an amazing time! The place is tranquil and peaceful, offering breathtaking views of the turquoise water. The beaches and underwater world are incredibly beautiful, and the overall island is walkable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. I would like to particularly highlight the housekeeper from room 410; he was exceptional and always attentive to our little one. Dining was satisfactory, with a high variety of food options, including seafood and meat on different evenings. The local cuisine and delicious fruits were particularly outstanding. At the bar, there were numerous cocktail options made with quality alcohol! Here are some areas for improvement for a ***** hotel: - Unfortunately, we booked a beach villa, but upon arrival, it was unavailable, and we were given a water bungalow instead. We were later informed that this was only an upgrade for two nights, which was not mentioned during check-in. This was frustrating, as we would have never agreed to that, especially with a baby, as it would have required us to move during our vacation. Fortunately, the manager resolved the issue and kept us in the same room. - The baby cot was not set up in our room, and the resort does not provide a baby mattress. The housekeeper was nice enough to make a mattress from a duvet. - The barbecue evening was priced at an additional $150, and the same type of fish was available the following day as part of the all-inclusive dinner, which felt strange. - I recommend adding hooks for towels in the villas. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and with these improvements, it could easily be even better!

It is the most amazing and unmatched place in the world... then we had the BEST STAFF to mention some- Chamil, Sheila and Eema ( reception), Shamveel ( at the restaurant), Nisaam ( making our water bungalow clean) , Zameera ( sweeping the white sand every morning). They are all very friendly,very accommodating, very respectful, very hardworking. Also, foods are very delicious- too many choices- best fresh fruit smoothies. My sister had a problem opening a bottled water in the middle of the night, called reception and a staff came right away to help. We rate the staff service 11/10- the best ever we've been to. We've been traveling around the world and this resort IS THE BEST. We enjoyed our water bungalow, snorkeling, jet ski , island hopping, watching the dolphins and swimming every day near our bungalow. SPA is the best also. When we departed via seaplane, many staff were there to bid goodbye and to say thank you to us. What a heartfelt scenario. Eema even gave us packed breakfast sandwich complete with fresh fruits and juices. FRIENDS, go and EXPERIENCE the hospitality and service of Cinnamom Velifushi. See you all soon again... The hotel’s location was satifying, offering the opportunity to enjoy the pristine white sandy beach while also exploring vibrant coral reefs on the other side. The tropical landscaping and sandy walkways enhanced the overall experience, making our stay in the Maldives even more special. We stayed in a water villa, and it was wonderful to have a net where we could lie down and enjoy the ocean breeze. The staff was incredibly kind—every team member was truly lovely. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options in the open buffet.
